Cotswolds with Jaime Fenwick & Greta Eskridge: September 5-13, 2026

Join photographer & Cotswolds travel guide Jaime Fenwick and author, speaker, and podcast host Greta Eskridge on a Women’s Walking Retreat through the Cotswolds in the beauty of early fall. Spend 8 days and nights immersed in the golden hues of the English countryside, where ivy-clad cottages glow in autumn’s embrace and peaceful footpaths wind through rolling hills and ancient villages. With Jaime & Greta as your hosts, you’ll experience a thoughtfully curated retreat—one that invites you to slow down, connect, and experience restorative soul-care.

Walking through the Cotswolds in early fall is a feast for the senses. The air is crisp and the scent of woodsmoke from centuries’ old chimneys can be picked up in the breeze . Hedgerows filled with juicy blackberries beckon – the perfect jewel of a treat to enjoy while strolling through dappled lanes and alongside golden fields dotted with fresh bales of hay.

There’s a stillness to the season: the crowds have thinned, and the blush of early autumn invites you to pause —whether it’s while walking along the River Windrush, after climbing to a panoramic hilltop, or during a stop at a cozy pub where hearty fare and a welcoming fire await. The unhurried pace of this retreat, along with the embrace of nature’s rhythms as we walk, serve as an ideal opportunity to rest, connect, and be inspired.

Spring Retreat: May 23-31, 2026

Experience the magic of the Cotswolds as spring lambs frolic in the fields and rose-covered cottages and grand country manors come to life with the season’s abundance.

I’ve recently incorporated a stunning new walk featuring a picture-perfect green meadow that will leave you in awe, along with visits to two breathtaking ancient churches—one adorned with medieval frescoes and Roman mosaics. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at The Swan Inn, a quintessential Cotswolds country pub featured in Downton Abbey (Season 2) and a final stop at Minster Lovell, the 15th century manor ruins set next to the River Windrush.

Throughout the retreat, I’ll be guiding conversations on slow living, embracing our natural rhythms, and unlocking our creative gifts. This retreat also includes two free days to accommodate leisurely exploring and relaxing.

We’ll wrap up our walking retreat with a luxurious two-night stay at the iconic Lygon Arms Hotel in Broadway, where you can unwind in the Roman-inspired pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, or indulge in full spa services—the perfect way to conclude a week of rejuvenating walks through some of England’s most picturesque countryside.
